How to Use DashAgri Grow Bags
Use these steps to prepare a DashAgri compressed coco coir grow bag. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended water volume and hydration time once those details are confirmed. Do not publish hole counts or hole sizes until they are confirmed for the bag and irrigation system.
Step 1 — Position the grow bag
- Place the compressed grow bag on a clean, level growing surface with adequate support and drainage.
Step 2 — Hydrate the growing medium
- Gradually add clean water to expand the compressed coco coir.
- Use the manufacturer’s recommended water volume and hydration time. Those amounts are pending confirmation and are not listed here.
Step 3 — Allow the coco coir to expand
- Allow the growing medium to hydrate evenly.
- Check that the material is fully expanded before planting.
Step 4 — Prepare drainage openings
- Create drainage openings in the locations and sizes recommended for the bag and irrigation system.
- Ensure excess water can drain without waterlogging the roots.
- Hole size and count are pending manufacturer confirmation.
Step 5 — Prepare planting openings
- Make suitable planting openings on top of the grow bag according to the crop and recommended plant spacing.
Step 6 — Add nutrients and plant
- Prepare the appropriate nutrient solution for your crop.
- Coco coir generally requires a suitable fertilization program because it is not a complete nutrient source by itself.
- Transplant seedlings into the prepared growing medium.
Step 7 — Maintain irrigation and monitor growth
- Water and feed according to crop requirements.
- Monitor growing-media moisture, nutrient-solution EC, pH, and drainage.
- Adjust irrigation and nutrition as plants develop.
Water volume, hydration time, drainage-hole size and count, and planting-hole arrangement still need manufacturer confirmation before they can be published. Photos or an illustrated sequence can be added when they are available.
